Do you want to use your Arduino to control circuits with the AC Mains at 230Vac? This breakout board allows you to do it. It has full isolation circuit using opto-coupler.

This is a relay breakout board which comes with full isolation using opto-coupler design. The relay works with 5VDC and has full isolation from the TTL/Digital output pins from your micro-controller or Arduino

The board also comes with easy solder pad at the back to allow you to thicken the connection either by adding more solder and soldering extra thick wires. This feature is good if you want to use the relay contacts (NO/NC) to control high current (DC/AC) devices.

There is a jumper that shorts COM to GND. Do NOT remove this jumper for the relay to work, in general.

If the TTL (control) signal needs to be isolated from the input power supply, the jumper has to be removed. In such cases, connect the power supply Ground to COM and the Controller Ground to GND.
